In the beginning Ahimsa Jewelry was only a dream, a vision that dances through time and across the space of light. Ahimsa Jewelry was established in February 2012 as a pure manifestation of a dream, a life passion, and an expression of love. The name Ahimsa in Sanskrit means non-violence and is being personally translated as an act of Love, to never hurt the people you love. Thus by choosing the name Ahimsa, we try to convey the message of love and to consistently carry the message throughout the creation. To always be reminded that the greatest gift in life will come from the place of love – the space of the heart, the space of Ahimsa.

The design of Ahimsa Jewelry is inspired by a personal journey, a three dimensional expression of the designer’s love for poetry, travels and yoga, inspired by the beauty of nature and all the little magical aspects of life. Ahimsa Jewelry features alchemy of symbolism, precious gemstones, silver and gold vermeil, which are lovingly handcrafted by a small group of village artisans in Bali using gemstones that are personally sourced from all over the world. Ahimsa Jewelry brings together the best quality natural gemstone beads and adorns them with finely crafted silver and gold vermeil pendants to create poetry of color and shape rich in meaning and symbolism. The collection being presented in the Jewelry Look Book marked the milestone of 2 years worth of research in design and workmanship, and is an expression of life documented in the form of precious jewels.
